Tim Brown is president and CEO of IDEO, a world leader in design and innovation. He has led strategic client relationships with such companies as DaimlerChrysler, Microsoft, Motorola, Pepsi, Procter & Gamble, and Steelcase. Tim joined IDEO in 1987 after earning his MA in design from the Royal College of Art in London.

Dr. Erika Wagner joined the X PRIZE Lab @ MIT initiative as the project's founding Executive Director. Her interdisciplinary academic background includes a bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, a master's in Aeronautics & Astronautics from MIT, and a PhD in Bioastronautics from the Harvard/MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology.
